The Coordinator handles specific large and complex book projects and is responsible for monitoring assigned print jobs with a pool of vendors. This position requires direct oversight of all purchasing activity related to producing first print custom text books including verifying specifications, managing vendor schedules, maintaining in house schedules and milestone dates, creating accurate purchase orders and following a job through to completion of finished books. The Coordinator will work with the Manufacturing Manager to generate reports, monitor vendor capacity, handle inquiries, research problems and identify solutions. Strong emphasis is put toward accurate pricing to avoid pricing variances and accurate data entry of specifications to ensure finished product is manufactured to specification.
